Applies to Middle and High School Tuition
Living Science is a Christian homeschool study center (hybrid) in Woodstock, Georgia, providing STEM and other academic classes for students from third grade through high school and science clubs for K-2. We are excited about God, students, discipleship, learning, and science, in that order. Our culture of encouragement helps students thrive on challenges and gain the skills they need to succeed.
As a science-centered school, we offer hands-on learning—on campus and afield. The science class is the backbone of our program. All our middle and high school students take a science class and go on a week-long field studies trip each year. Our middle school students enjoy a high-energy, multisensory, and rigorous classroom experience that fosters confidence and a love of learning. In our high school Servant Leader program, we mentor student leaders through a multi-year progression, increasing responsibility with each year, and providing the training and support to build skills and confidence.
Our Unique Approach includes, *A strong Biblical emphasis that guides character development. *Teaching children, not a curriculum. *Hands-on learning including American Sign Language. *Expeditions to Gulf and Atlantic coastal venues for marine studies. *Servant Leadership development with an emphasis on mentoring younger students. *Dual enrollment classes.
We begin in Kindergarten with a club atmosphere that is designed to give students a well rounded start in music, reading, writing, math and other manipulatives. The annual curriculum is always based on some aspect of science. Engineering principles are introduced in 4th grade. Code writing is introduced in 8th grade, and in middle and high school, various technology and engineering electives are provided, such as electronics technology and communications technology.

"Living Science offers hands-on training in science, math and engineering. As a dual enrollment student, I have found myself well prepared academically, socially, and spiritually. It has been such a blessing to attend a school like this where I am encouraged and can fellowship with other students who have similar goals. Living Science Rocks."
Living Science is committed to creating opportunities for our children to not only read about creation, but to encounter it and study it in natural environments. I know of no other high school that provides a week of instruction each year studying specimens, doing water and diversity studies, and applying science and math laws out of doors. Living Science provides a practical, comprehensive STEM education.
The Servant Leader Program has not only expanded my knowledge and love for God, but it also has expanded my knowledge of science, teamwork and leadership.
