While honing her skills in costume design for numerous theatrical productions and touring rock bands including the Rolling Stones, Black Crowes, KISS, Goo Goo Dolls,Mr. Big, Billy Dean, Robert Plant, Buddy Guy and Jim Kerr, Gallagher dreamed of creating a children's clothing business that would be anything but ordinary. Her move to San Francisco in 1991 enabled her to pursue this dream which became Wee Scotty. Her flair for the dramatic translated into bold fabrics, colors and textures that eventually would become the Wee Scotty trademark. Lynne's passion for design and sewing lead to the embarking of knowledge to youths of San Francisco and Mill Valley. Wee Scotty openined its doors in 1999 in the location of the start of Banna Republic, Mill Valley Ca. We have moved throughout the years due to rent increases and have taught classes in Mill Valley (2years), Pacific Heights (13 years) and now servicing the Richmond/Pacific Heights/Sea Cliff area of San Francisco. Gallagher's successful San Francisco based apparel production and product development includes many name brand clients - Joe Boxer, Esprit, DKNY Kids, Betsey Johnson, Gymboree/Zutopia, Levi's, Vogue Patterns and Sandra Betzina/Power Sewing. Our production house was recently contacted by San Francisco Dungeon, Merlin Entertainment to design and create over 200 costumes for the opening of the first ever USA Dungeon. San Francisco Dungeon is set in 1850's Barbery Coast. The SF Dungeon adventure tells the story of the creepy underbelly shenanigans and shanghi's; plague, courts and gold fever that settled 1850 San Francisco. Designs were made new in 1850's styles and then distressed to help tell the dungeon tale. This is a great new fun and scarey San Francisco attraction that San Franciscans should take all their visting guests to attend.
