Traditional Shorin-Ryu Karate-Do of Raleigh

The Traditional Shorin-Ryu Karate-Do of Raleigh was established to bring quality, traditional Okinawan karate and kobudo (weapons training) to the Triangle area. Students of all ages are welcome, from children to adults. Our program guides students to achieve their martial arts goals, whether competing on the local, regional, or national level, developing self-defense techniques, improving physical fitness, or higher belt ranks.

There is more to studying martial arts than kicking and punching. At the Traditional Shorin-Ryu Karate-Do of Raleigh we guide our students to improve self-esteem and self-control, enhance concentration and focus, develop coordination and motor skills, compete on local, regional, and national levels, learn leadership skills and respect for others, expand problem solving skills, learn the importance of practice and persistence to reach personal goals, acquire skills and knowledge to mediate conflict.
