However, as obesity and other chronic diseases are steadily rising, extreme and fad diets are as well. These types of diets make us fatigued, frustrated, and malnourished. We get trapped in the vicious cycle of losing weight only to regain that weight right back.
The truth is, losing weight is not about willpower. If our diet is not practical to our real lives or leaves us feeling deprived or unsatisfied, it will be nearly impossible to keep up those eating habits long-term no matter how much willpower we have. Hi, my name is Pauline, at the beginning of this journey I was not super happy with how I looked physically or felt. I was tired and sluggish and suffered from low back pain. Because I was self-conscious of the way I looked, I typically would wear loose fit clothing and avoided photos unless I was sitting or standing in the back behind a group of people.
