A few years ago I trained with Stephanie at 24 hour fitness back when she worked there and she was great but it was way too expensive. Now that she owns Hybrid Fitness I have referred my mom and sister to her! I started training 4 months ago with her. I weighed 165 and had 18% body fat and now I weigh 162 and have 11% body fat! I have been training with Steve since November 2012. After losing 50 lbs on my own, I knew that I needed a trainer to help me with the rest of my healthy transformation. (that's me in the before and after picture wearing the blue tank top). So...I looked on the computer for trainers, the first person I called, was too busy to even speak with me on the phone. He cared more about how much money he could get out of me...The second person I contacted was Steve at Team Hybrid Fitness. He got back to me right away and I met him 2 days later. I showed up ready to workout and I'm not going to lie, it was tough. I weighed 260 lbs when I started with Steve and doing exercises like squats were extremely difficult. Hell, even walking on the treadmill was hard. But Steve was beside me the entire time, telling me I can do it and that it takes time and to not get frustrated. Steve had me send to him what goals I want to achieve, as well as what foods I eat, and from there he devised the best course of action for me. Trying new exercises were scary at first, and at times I would look at him and say "are you sure I can do this"? Steve's answer "yes, I know you can do it, I would never have you do something that you aren't ready for". Once I heard the faith he had in me, I put all my trust in him. I knew at that moment that I chose the right trainer for me. Also during that first session, I could feel that Steve doesn't do this for the money, he really truly cares about what he does and he WANTS you to succeed and see results. His knowledge is impressive!! What I also love about training with Steve is the support I get from the other people he trains. We all support and encourage one another to keep going, it's so motivational and inspiring. It's awesome!! I have lost a total of 120 lbs since July of 2012, and 72 lbs since working out with Steve. There are days when I don't want to workout, but I push myself and go and I'm always glad I did, I walk out of the gym feeling amazing! So if you want to truly workout and make healthy changes, come see Steve at Team Hybrid Fitness. He is so positive and encouraging, and what I love most is he isn't one of these trainers who yells at you...he takes the time to explain and demonstrate every exercise so that you understand what and why you are doing it. He will hold you accountable. In order to see results, you will have to eat right and do your part when not at the gym. The best move I made was signing up with him, my life is forever changed thanks to him. I give 100% when I workout and I eat right and I see results...that's all you have to do. I'm doing exercises I never thought I could do. Heck, I'm even running which I haven't done in over 20 years!!!! My endurance is up as well as my energy levels. Steve has showed me that I can do anything. And after every workout, what I always hear from him is "good workout Kathy, you are doing great"!! Those words mean the world to me.
