Instruments Ballet Academy - If you are looking for a wholesome, encouraging environment for your child to learn how to dance, then look no further. We want to bring a quality of dance education that's never before been seen in south Portland. Not only do we offer quality dance instruction at an affordable rate, we also provide a safe space for children and teens from all walks of life to learn the principles of rhythm, movement, and expression. This includes kids with special needs or other challenges. We integrate our classes as much as possible so that every child has a rich experience and builds positive relationships with their classmates and teachers. We believe your kids are capable of great things.
Instruments Ballet Company is a non-profit professional dance company that rehearses at the Instruments Ballet Academy studios and performs all original works. It was founded in 2016 by Rebekah Miller Atkins and now boasts 10 company dancers. Over the past 3 years we have performed throughout the Portland metro area and were invited to Calgary, Alberta Canada last Summer to participate in the world renowned Project Dance festival. This March we are going on tour through California, and in August we plan to take a team to Eastern Africa to share our love for dance in 3 countries. We are always looking for additional sponsors to partner with us in this great endeavor to share hope, joy, and love through the art of dance!
