Welcome to the Camerata School for students in PreK to grade 12. Camerata is a Christian school where the Bible is taught and incorporated across the curriculum with time for Chapel and worship. We provide a Classical education and adhere to the Trivium model which is a time-honored tradition, Our students thrive on the adventure and love of learning, growing in Christ-like character and responding to God's call upon their lives. We provide a Conservatory of Fine Arts where students receive weekly lessons in piano--the gateway to all music which establishes excellent learning pathways in the brain. Students receive training in art, band, choir, drama, music, and orchestra for the future.. You'll see learning spring to life at the Camerata School in the love of music, great literature, the arts, academics, and athletics. Camerata also provides teaching in STEM, gardening, Latin, Spanish, and Chinese. Students may pursue in-depth studies in tracks such as Entrepreneur, Communications, STEM, Visual Arts, and Musical Fine Arts. If this kind of education brings forth excitement in you, come see for yourself. You'll see it all inextricably bound in the higher-order thinking, mind-sharpening truth of God's perspective and personalized in His love.
I love and would recommend the Camarata school for many reasons. First, the teachers know their stuff. They are fully engaged with each child they teach. We have seen our son blossom in his enthusiasm for school and learning. Second, the environment is positive with children working out their differences in a biblical Christ centered way; uplifting and encouraging each other in a genuinely positive environment. Third, the curriculum is wide in its scope, goes deep, and integrates Christian truth in every subject whether music, history, math, writing, etc. Finally, the Bible is taught. Our son knows stories, has scripture memorized and often comes home with questions about God and the Bible. And, of course our son was so excited to be able to pray in school with his friends!

Before I found Camerata I was beginning to feel as if what I was looking for did not exist in one place. I wanted a rigorous curriculum but in a loving and patient environment. Passionate teachers who believe communication with parents is extremely important in the overall learning process. I wanted the other students to know the expectation is to be kind to one another. Awesome extracurriculars would be a bonus. The head of school of Camerata, Jody Capehart, sets the tone for all of this and so much more. This school is a family. The support given to each other is amazing. You walk through Camerata and all you see (and feel) are big, warm, loving, hearts.

The Camerata School is very special and unique among Christian schools. It is a classical school with small class sizes, a focus on the arts, and gifted teachers who radiate Christ's love. Our kindergartner is always excited to attend school and has gone from reading a few sight words to breezing through books on her own! We are so happy to be a part of the Camerata family!
