In response to customer demand, a small cafe was opened inside the Double Eagle Restaurant. A more casual style of New Mexican cuisine is offered here. The menu is entirely different, the servers are different, the uniforms are different but the same high standards for quality food and excellent service apply. Serving Lunch and Dinner. Peppers features traditional New Mexican dishes with a twist and influences from Asia and well as the American Heartland can be seen. Perhaps the most potent menu items involve Green Chili. Raised in the Mesilla Valley, the Long John Green Chile is the staple for Peppers' famous Chile Relleno or stuffed Chile. Peppers offers Chile Rellenos stuffed with three cheeses or with seafood and cheese. So popular are these, that no matter what entree is ordered, an order of Chile Relleno on the side is quite common. Even Double Eagle diners send for Peppers Chile Relleno to complement their steaks.
