Hyland vineyard has been a part of the Willamette Valley since 1971. It's impossible to talk about the origins of Oregon winemaking without mentioning the gentle giant overlooking the Van Duzer corridor. Untouched, unmoved and self-rooted, Hyland’s gnarly 46-year old vines remain entrenched in red volcanic Jory soil. They’ve been there since the beginning, watching as new neighbors have moved in and planted their own vineyards.
At Hyland, we make a number of Red and White wines as well as a Rose. Our Estate Pinot Noir is a Pinot Noir Cuvee which we make in addition to four single-clone Pinot Noir bottlings (Dijon 115, Wadenswil, Coury, Pommard). We also have a barrel select reserve selection, that we refer to as the Founders selection. On the white wine side, we make a barrel fermented, Burgundian-style Chardonnay as well as Gewurztraminer, Riesling and Late Harvest Riesling.
