We serve the communities of McHenry, Lake, Cook, Kane and Will Counties, IL, including Crystal Lake, Algonquin, Lake in the Hills, Elgin, Carpentersville, Cary, Woodstock, Huntley and other nearby cities.
The Center relies on donations, grants and fees from members to continue offering our programs and services to our community, though access to services and participation in activities is not based on ability to pay. We will never turn away someone with need or interest based on ability to pay. With this in mind, provisions are in place for those who qualify. Please talk to us about your situation. We are here to serve the community!
Aikido, Acupuncture, Yoga and Meditation have all had profoundly positive effects on my overall wellbeing. I’ve experienced better physical health, increased range of motion, and feel good about myself.
I have been receiving Acupuncture treatments for a variety of ailments for the last couple of years, not the least of which is my COPD, with a great deal of success. On some occasions results were felt within half an hour. Dealing with COPD can be devastating but with the combination of acupuncture, cupping and herbs I have done so well that my pulmonologist is extremely pleased.
I've been training at this Aikido dojo for almost 6 years now, and the instructors and fellow students have become like family. For me, my mom wanted me to take martial arts before I went away for college, and what I gained has impacted my life in so many ways. I'm healthier, more thoughtful, and a happier person in general. If I'm having a bad day, I leave the dojo feeling uplifted.
The amount of patience, genuine care, and investment the instructors put into all their students, have put into me
personally, is humbling. And you won’t get this much personal attention from such experienced instructors most other places you go. Thanks for everything,
