Welcome to The First Presbyterian Church of Charleston, West Virginia. Here at First Presby we celebrate the fact that we have been engaged in ministry and service to and with the city of Charleston since 1819. Spiritually "standing on the shoulders of those who have laid that solid foundation,” we are convinced that our most exciting and fulfilling times are ahead of us. First Presbyterian Church is a congregation of 1200 members involved in a myriad of ministries in Charleston, the State of West Virginia, the nation and the world. We anchor our ministry efforts in worship, study, fellowship and mission as we seek together to be disciples of Christ and meet human needs wherever the Lord leads.
