Come have a quaint breakfast, or lunch in our vintage cafe. We are located in a 19th century Textile Mill in Houston’s Historic Heights. Kraftsmen Cafe offers fresh, handmade breads and pastries, along with creative soups, fresh salads, and tempting sandwiches. Full coffee service is available all day, along with a wide range of craft beverages. We strive to sell as many local products as we can, which you will find on our retail shelf including hot sauce, chocolate, and much more. And if it couldn't get better, we offer FREE Wi-Fi!!!

Our specialty is our hand made breads, baked fresh daily. The flour used is top milled and free from bleaching agents and bromate. No chemical preservatives are ever added, making our breads and pastries the best product on the market. You will find a variety of cafes, restaurants and hotels serving our bread in Houston and Austin.

If you are in Houston all I can say is you HAVE to come here. Best part is it's BYOB! For brunch bring champagne to make mimosas and dinner bring a nice bottle of wine. Whether for breakfast, lunch, or dinner...the menu for each is excellent! Has a cute coffee shop feel and tends to fill up quickly for brunch. They recently added dinner service and therefore it tends to be on the empty side at night but therefore has a nice, intimate setting. I've tried almost everything on the menu but my favorites are: croissant sandwich and woodsman omelet (the homemade sausage is amazing!) for breakfast, Jive Turkey sandwich for lunch, and Pot pie and lamb shank for dinner. -Lisa via Yelp! 4/22/2015
Lately, this has been my go to place to read and chill for a while. The outside patio is great, especially with the weather we have had the last few weeks. The entire spot is just so charming. I have been addicted to the Be All You can Be Bagel, with smoked salmon, eggs, cappers, and red onions. The pastries and fresh baked bread are amazing. Loved the atmosphere, it is very laid back, welcoming and industrial at the same time. The food is priced well and tastes fresh and delicious. I haven't tried the pastries but they definitely look good, you can also buy homemade bread there. The cold fish sandwich (smoked salmon) had plenty of salmon and was really well balanced - not too fishy. I will definitely come back for other menu items and pastries! -Mery via Yelp! 5/1/2015
Wow. I've driven by a few times in the Heights wondering. This place is amazing!! The layout, the environment, the location, the building. Everything about this place.
