1980: Eddy Ho and his wife opened their first restaurant, Japan 77 Steak House in Glendale Heights, IL, renting a space in a local strip mall. After many years of success, they moved to own building in 2000.
1989: Eddy & his wife built their second restaurant, Domo 77 Steak House, in Wheaton, IL. They bought an empty lot surrounded by cornfields.
2006: Eddy & his wife built their third restaurant, in Aurora, bordering Naperville, to be the sire of their third restaurant, Domo 77, which opened in 2007.
Restaurant Concept: Classical and healthy food using Oriental Methods. Both Domo 77 and Japan 77 are traditional, Japanese Steak Houses geared towards family style eating. They are wonderful environments for families, group or company parties, celebrations and special occasions.
Business Goal: Serving Our Community
Eddy & his family have faithfully supported educational and local charities since they opened their first restaurant. They desire to continue supporting their local communities, especially focusing on education, through scholarships, donations and fundraisers.
Vision: They hope that they will be able to grow into a public company, to continue giving benefits to their loyal customers.
