THE DOGGUY'S and GLOBAL K9's BASIC OBEDIENCE PROGRAM will quickly "fix" your canine companion's behaviorial problems. Our training will give you the "dog of your dreams", a dog that you will actually look forward to being with and that others won't mind being around!Behaviors that are addressed include (but are not limited to): Pulling and dragging you when leashed; Jumping; Nipping; House Soiling; Ignoring you; Demanding excessive attention; Boredom; Destructive behavior; Not coming when called; "Crittering".GLOBAL K9'sPrograms are NOT "cookie cutter" programs ... we know that "one size does NOT fit all"!Our programs are designed to fulfill what the dog's owner wants his companion to be. If you just want a calm and obedient dog to accompany you on walks and outings or if you want to compete in shows and trials, GLOBAL K9 structures the training to achieve this.Your dog's training is NOT completed until we are comfortable with him being seen by the public and you telling others that you trained with GLOBAL K9!

"The most amazing trainer that Zeb and I could ever have!" Susan M. 5 years ago I would never have imagined Sheba being so great with other dogs and certainly notpuppies! All thanks to Chris Dogguy Amick for training my sweet Rottie!Jessica K. V. "I would like to commend Chris for the experience and knowledge to knowwhen and how to rehab a biting dog, and when to say enough's enough. Areal trainer's trainer. I wish there were about 10 kajillion more likeyou. Good job." E. Herrick Riley is a three year old Siberian Husky with a lovable personality and a high tendencyto bolt. I had some success training him to sit, come, and not jump on people, but hisresponses were sporadic to say the least. Riley loves to run and we both enjoy hikingon off-leash trails, but I could not steadily rely on him to come when it was time to leaveand had very little authority over him in social situations (with other dogs in particular). He also started backing out of his collar while on walks and bolting out the front doorto just run free. Both situations were very inconvenient and very dangerous. So I called The Dog Guy. Chris came to my home to meet Riley, make an evaluation, andexplain the training program, which included four home sessions and unlimited groupclasses. Our first training session Chris explained the use of the electronic collar and beganworking with Riley. By the end of the session he was reliably responding to come and nolonger pulling on his leash. By the end of the second session he was heeling, sitting, andcompletely off leash. The third session, at a local park, was a review and reinforcement ofeverything we had learned. The final session was in the parking lot of a crowded grocerystore. Riley did awesome! He was not distracted by anything....people, cars, landscapers, movers etc. He heeled at my side the entire time. We now take Riley to our local parks andon walks throughout the neighborhood and he immediately obeys my commands. He is nowa very well mannered dog who does not bolt, even when I leave the front door open to bringin groceries.Initially I was skeptical of e-collars and felt that their use was ONLY appropriate for fieldtraining and situations where corrections over long distance were required. I was amazedthat the proper use of the collar really had a quick, dramatic effect on Riley. He gets excitedwhen I bring out the e-collar as he has much greater freedom to interact with and enjoyother people and dogs.Anne-Michelle Dodd, SVP "... I act as a foster mom for stray/abused/abandoned dogs that are looking for good homes. I have had eight dogs come through during the past year in addition to my own dog and two cats.Chris has worked with several of them for both basic obedience and behavioral issues and I have always been thoroughly impressed with his professionalism. My own dog, Sera, is an extremely energetic two-year old hound/Rottweiler mix that has been more than a handful and Chris has come to the rescue numerous times with her as well. She is especially timid around men but took to Chris with no hesitation at all. I have recommended Chris to several of my friends and adoptive parents and have heard wonderful reviews from them as well. He is very no nonsense in his approach and is able to explain behavioral issues from the viewpoint of the dog, which helps so much with resolutions! You can tell that he truly loves dogs and has an instant rapport with them. I've been very pleased and plan to continue to use him for lots of years to come.Tonya F. (Sera & Molly) Dear Chris, Thanks again. Things are going very well. Charlie never walked Simon before, now he is walking him 2-3 times a day. This is great for both of them.Joanne P. (Simon)
