Meet our Pet Stylists
Mallory Wiekamp has been grooming at Kung Fu Shihtzu since February 2012. She graduated from the California School of Dog Grooming in July of 2008. July of this year Mallory became the owner of Kung Fu Shihtzu.
At an early age Mallory knew she would always work with animals, especially dogs. Throughout middle school and early high school she volunteered at a local museum that had a live animal exhibit. There she helped clean out rat cages, played with rabbits and snakes, as well as educated guests about the animals. On the weekends Mallory spent her time at the local dog and cat adoption center called YAPS (Yucaipa animal placement society). There she played with the animals, fed them and cleaned up after them.
During high school Mallory spent her time after school and on weekends working part time at DonMar Farms and kennels. Here she cleaned out dog kennels, fed, and played with the dogs as well as helped get them adopted. It wasn’t all sunshine and rainbows. Her family often complained about how smelly she was after each day of work. At this point mud and dog poop did not bug her one bit. Mallory has no problem getting her hands dirty as long as the dogs were happy in the end.
After graduating high school Mallory got into a dog grooming program at California School of Dog Grooming and took the three-month course. 9 to 5, 6 days a week she groomed dogs. And the rest is history.
Lindsea had a senior project in high school that set her on the path of grooming. She found a groomer that was willing to teach her about the grooming process while she worked on her project. After this project was finished she was asked to stay as a part time job; bathing the dogs. From there she was taught how to groom dogs.
After working for this groomer for 5 years she decided to take off on her own to groom. She has seven years of experience under her belt and has been working for Kung Fu Shihtzu since July 2016.
At Kung Fu Shihtzu Grooming we strive to make the grooming experience the best for your four-legged pup(s). We wouldn’t be in this business if we didn’t love dogs, we are not ashamed to show it either. We hope that whoever walks through our door feel the passion and love we have for animals.

I took my little gal Sassy here today for the first time and everyone was really great. They were people AND dog friendly. The check-in was very professional and they asked me exactly what type of cut I wanted and also explained what they could do for my breed since the cut I asked for was for a different breed. When I came to pick her up several hours later, she was running around freely (while supervised) with a few other little dogs and had the biggest puppy smile. She seemed really happy which just seals the deal for me. I am always nervous that someone might not really be dog friendly or might get rough while grooming, this group was nothing like that and I am really grateful that I stopped by. I will be back for sure!!

It was my first time bringing in my dog Boo (she's a almost 1 yr old Peek-a-Poo/Shihtzu mix). There were all types of dogs, large and small, in for grooming and all of them were relaxed and happy to be there. The staff is very nice and friendly. Asked me about details with regards to how I wanted Boo groomed. They had her ready for me earlier than the promised time. When I picked her up, Boo was being supervised but she was not in a cage and she was not stressed at all. Overall it was a great experience and I will definitely go back.

Took a matted schnauzer mess in. The cut was great, but not what impressed me the most. They listened to what I said, were very gentle, did quick work, and didn't return an upset, angry, or sore dog. That's beyond worth. This our new go-to place.
