CrossFit is well known as an effective way to sweat and meet positive, wellness-oriented people. Our box is no exception. Our members are a big reason why our coaches love coming to work every morning. Sasquatch approaches the CrossFit mantra a little differently than most, though. We place the safety and wellbeing of our members far above their ability to lift incredibly heavy things. That is not to say that we don't lift, we simply take our time in making sure that our athletes get to their goals injury free!
We also place a lot of emphasis on mobility. Have you ever seen huge bodybuilders that can bench press crazy amounts of weight but can't touch their toes? You won't find any here. We want to help you get stronger AND more limber!

Sasquatch Crossfit has the two things I want most in a gym: exceptional coaching and a great community. I am pushed to progress from where I am personally at in my fitness on a daily basis. Not only by the coaches but by the friends/workout partners I have made here as well. If you want to start off with a solid foundation and progress from there with people who truly care about your successes and goals, come check it out!

Sasquatch feels like a team. Super knowledgeable, encouraging (think friendly drill sergeants), and lots of variety. Focus on good form, learning/progress, and consistency makes it better than just doing random heavy reps.

Tim, Sasquatch's glorious leader, is by far and away the most knowledgeable person I've met when it comes to how the body moves/works. His nearly obsessive focus on doing the right movements and making sure everyone is able to do their best has provided me with a really great introduction to Crossfit. Also the sense of community I got from the other people that work out here is just great. Whether it's Coach Mike proclaiming his love for Taylor Swift or seeing them throw a giant BBQ for the entire gym, these guys do it right and make it fun. I would highly recommend this gym to anyone considering starting Crossfit or just looking for a great place to work out. Oh and the logo is badass.
6 Months In Update:
So after having been a member of this gym for 6 months I can report that I've lost 32 pounds, my strength level is much much higher than it was before, and my back pain has almost completely been vanquished. To say I am amazed at the progress is something of an understatement. The community is supportive and pushes you to be your best, but Mike and Tim are absolutely all about correct form and safety. Love this place.
