Arlene Perry received her training from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition in New York City, where she was trained in more than one hundred dietary theories and studied a variety of practical lifestyle coaching methods. Drawing on this knowledge, Arlene helps clients create a completely personalized “roadmap to health” that suits your unique body, lifestyle, preferences, and goals. She earned a BA in Psychology from State University of New York and an MA in Communication and Counseling from Fairleigh Dickinson University in Madison, New Jersey. She grew up in Toronto, Canada and is married with two grown children.
Arlene’s passion and mission is to help clients make sustainable changes to improve their health and happiness. As a Personal Health Coach, Arlene listens carefully and helps clients navigate the world of contradictory nutrition advice to determine what is required to benefit them. Whether it’s weight management, low energy (lethargy) or reduced motivation to ‘get up and go’, Arlene works together with clients to explore their specific circumstances and habits. This helps to identify the tools needed to regain and maintain a lifetime of healthful balance.
Arlene recently moved her practice to Denver, and became a proud member of the Integrative Medicine of Cherry Creek, working collaboratively with David Gordon, MD, David Amli, DC, and Chris Bantock, DC. Healthy Life Denver is also a member of the Cherry Creek Chamber of Commerce, and the Glendale Chamber of Commerce.
The coaching is convenient, easy and private since you are coached in the comfort of your home or office. These coaching programs are six weeks in length and completely customized to your individual needs. Your coach will review your lifestyle habits and medical history to establish a starting point, provide guidance on goal setting, talk through trouble spots and address barriers, and offer motivation to inspire change to help you reach your health goals. In between sessions, your coach will use email to stay in touch and keep you on track. Arlene has been an important factor in my healthy eating program since last summer. rlene worked with me to improve both nutrition related issues I was having and to uncover the source of some of those issues over the course of 6 months.
